Hello everyone! My name is Buster, and I am a fun loving, easy going lovebug. I love everyone and everything I meet! Especially doggy and kitty friends. My favorite thing in the whole world is to play with my puppy foster sister. We tumble around and chase each other every chance we get. I also love naps; really love naps.
Like many others, I came to SGSR in pretty rough shape. I was super thin, had heartworms, and a kidney problem that manifested as a Urinary Tract Infection. But even through my rough start, I have been a super loving and affectionate boy. I have put on some healthy weight, my Heartworms and UTI are all better, and my kidneys are being managed with some special food and an inexpensive life long medication. The doctor thinks something happened to my kidneys when I was younger that made them just not work quite as well. But that wont stop me from being the happy go-lucky goofball that I am.
I would love to go to a home with some 2 and 4 legged friends, and someone that can be patient with me as I continue to learn how to be a good house dog! I do still occasionally have an accident in the house, but I don't get into things i'm not supposed to, and sleep all day while my 2 legged family is gone. I don't always hear super well, and i'm a little slow to pick up new tricks, but if your looking for the easiest, sweetest German Shepherd you've ever met, than you have come to the right page. I am being fostered in Garner, NC, and just cant wait to meet you!
